Hextale is a fast-paced collectible card game inspired by fairy tales, nursery rhymes and popular folklore.

Build your collection, create strategic decks and battle your opponent in quick matches where every card you conquer can become part of your army.

A demo of the game is already playable, but before releasing it, we want to take it to the next level.

With your help, we want to complete Hextale, replace our prototype artwork with professional illustrations, and fill the game with a lot of amazing content, flashy animations, and features that will keep you glued to the screen for days!

Every character has Power Values on the six sides of their hexagonal card.

Place your cards on the battlefield and use their values to challenge adjacent enemy cards. If your side is stronger than your opponent's touching side, you conquer their card.

But there is a twist: CONQUERED CARDS FLIP TO YOUR SIDE.

A card that belonged to your opponent can suddenly become part of your territory. A single move can change the balance of the whole battlefield.

Every decision matters.

To score points you have two strategies:

Dominate the battlefield - Every card that’s on your side at the end of your turn makes you score points. The more you have, the more the points. Careful though! The stronger the card you play, the lower it scores.

Inflict powerful blows to your enemies - If you attack and successfully conquer an enemy, the power difference between your card and the defender is your score: If you attack a 9 with a 12, that’s 3 points for you!

Hextale's Heroes don't simply have different appearances.

Each Hero has a Light and Dark side, inspired by different aspects of their original story. The artwork, abilities and flavor of each card are connected to the character's lore.

Hextale is created around collection and deck building. The more Heroes you collect, the more possibilities you have when building your decks.

The whole collection of 120+ cards now features more than 80 unique abilities. We’re planning to add new ones each month.

Different abilities and character combinations can create completely different strategies.

Every card in Hextale comes with at least one trait. Traits are used to define a character’s lore and alignment, but also their playstyle. For example, cards with a Wild trait buff each other on the board, Cruel base their abilities on debuffs, DoTs and stealing, Explorers move around the board a lot, Princesses transform and protect, etc.

There are a total of 12 traits in Hextale, and combining more than one of them in a single deck can create extremely interesting synergies and playstyles.

There is no right or wrong way to build your deck and play it. Just experiment and find your favorite playstyle.
